Salary and Benefits
- Basic Salary: Kshs 162,303-228,848
- House Allowances: Kshs 66,344
- Additional allowances and benefits per terms of service or Council determinations
Qualifications for Appointment
- Academic and professional criteria:
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Kenyan university in Administration, Educational Administration, Education, Communication, Management, Public Administration, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in the aforementioned fields.
- Membership in a relevant Professional body (if applicable).
Experience and Skills
- 9 years administrative experience, with at least 3 years at the Senior Assistant Registrar level.
- Membership in a recognized, relevant professional body.
- Administrative skills: organization, responsibility, teamwork, communication, time management, multitasking, and customer care.
- Computer literacy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Administration of infrastructure, facilities, amenities, equipment, ICT systems, and other resources for examination management.
- Coordination of External Examination processes.
- Processing procurement, storage, and distribution of examination materials.
- Coordination of procurement, storage, processing, and issuance of certificates and transcripts.
- Verification and certification of certificates and academic documents.
- Updating and preservation of the roll of convocation.
- Management and Administration of Personnel in the Examination section.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Vice Chancellor.
