Purpose: Drive NCBA Group’s sustainability integration into financial strategies. Develop and implement sustainable finance initiatives aligned with environmental and social responsibility, ensuring financial success.
Key Areas:
- Leadership/Supervisory Role (30%):
- Implement Sustainability Framework policies.
- Collaborate with reps and sustainability champions.
- Lead sustainability mapping and engagement programs.
- Research new sustainability ideas.
- Product Development Advisory (20%):
- Lead Green and Sustainable finance strategy.
- Guide creation of sustainable financial instruments.
- Collaborate on designing and managing finance products.
- Identify sustainable investment opportunities.
- Financial Skills and Structuring (20%):
- Oversee financial structuring of sustainable projects.
- Monitor sustainable finance performance.
- Provide deal origination support, lead credit assessment.
- Review and coordinate project-level due diligence.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration (20%):
- Build trusted partnerships internally and externally.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Assist departments in aligning on sustainability projects.
- Collaborate with relationship managers.
- Governance and Reporting (10%):
- Develop and evaluate project progress.
- Ensure quarterly reporting on sustainability action plans.
- Prepare reports on sustainability performance.

Ideal Specifications:
- Academic: Master’s degree preferred; Professional qualification in environment or climate risk-related field is an advantage.
- Work Experience: Minimum 10 years in sustainability, preferably in the financial sector, managing large-scale programs.
