Human Resource Manager

Umma University is currently inviting qualified and highly competent candidates to apply for the position of Human Resource Manager. If you have a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, are a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), and have at least 6 years of experience in a Human Resource office, you are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership for Human Resources Strategic Planning by analyzing and identifying current and future Human Resources needs within the University.
  2. Implement Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.
  3. Oversee compliance with regulatory concerns.
  4. Plan, organize, and direct employee performance by monitoring achievement according to performance targets and goals.
  5. Assist in recruitment and selection of the right candidates.
  6. Issue job descriptions and assess required qualifications, skills, work experience, duties, and responsibilities for specific job positions.
  7. Assess and determine employee training needs to enhance job performance.
  8. Ensure timely preparation of the payroll.
  9. Ensure employees receive services, benefits, and facilities to enhance their well-being.
  10. Document and maintain employee records and information.
  11. Participate in executive, management, and company staff meetings.
  12. Develop and administer programs, procedures, and guidelines to align the workforce with the University’s strategic direction.
  13. Prepare periodic reports for management to track strategic goals.
