Job Description
- We are seeking 2 detail-oriented, analytical, and highly professional Junior Accounting Officer to join our finance team at Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel’s financial systems and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in accounting, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare reconciliations of accounts including bank, receivables, and payables
- Process invoices, expense claims, and payments in line with company policies
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal control procedures
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the finance department
