Job Description

The successful candidates will be reporting to the Dean, School of Communication, Cinematic and Creative Arts, (SCCCA) and will be expected to teach, conduct research and engage in community service.

Key Responsibilities/Tasks/Duties:

  • Teach at undergraduate and graduate level in the specific areas of specialization.
  • Support and mentor students in their career endeavors.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure that the programs are up-to-date and marketable.
  • Design e-learning content for online academic programs.
  • Participate in program assessment and reviews.
  • Supervise students’ research (projects/ thesis/ dissertations) at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
  • Engage in research in one’s area of expertise.
  • Engage in service to the University, the profession and to the community.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Required skills

A minimum of 24 publication points as per the CUE Standards & Guidelines, 2014, of which at least si At least a Master’s degree qualification in from an accredited University; At least three (3) years of teaching experience in a University or equivalent institution of higher Been registered by the relevant professional body, where applicable.
