Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of ITF projects and activities;
  • Conduct field visits, community assessments, and project monitoring activities;
  • Prepare project reports, activity reports, and documentation;
  • Coordinate community meetings, trainings, and awareness activities;
  • Assist in project budgeting, logistics, and operational coordination;
  • Support monitoring and evaluation processes including data collection and reporting;
  • Maintain project records, photos, and activity documentation;
  • Liaise with volunteers, schools, community leaders, and project beneficiaries;
  • Assist in organizing project launches, workshops, and community engagement activities;
  • Perform any other project-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Candidate Specifications

  • Must be between 18 – 30 years old;
  • Must commit to a minimum period of six (6) months;
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Community Development, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, or related field is an added advantage;
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in diverse communities and multicultural environments;
  • Willingness to participate in field activities and community engagement programs;
  • Good report writing and computer skills;
  • Passionate about youth empowerment, community transformation, and sustainable development.

Compensation

  • Although ITF volunteers enjoy valuable learning opportunities, leadership exposure, networking, career development, and international engagement opportunities, ITF does NOT provide salaries, stipends, or any form of financial compensation.
  • Volunteers serve on a full-time volunteer basis and are responsible for personal expenses such as accommodation and daily transport. ITF only facilitates direct operational expenses incurred during official organizational activities including fieldwork, project implementation, and meetings outside the office.
