Roles / Duties

  • Operate and control flushing units and exhaust systems safely and efficiently
  • Clean pipelines, tanks, and systems by flushing out debris, sludge, or contaminants
  • Monitor pressure, flow rates, and equipment performance during operations
  • Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
  • Perform basic maintenance and report faults or breakdowns
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste materials according to safety and environmental standards
  • Follow safety procedures, especially when handling hazardous materials or gases
  • Keep records of operations, maintenance, and incidents

Qualifications

  • Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Operations, or a related field
  • Experience in industrial operations, oil & gas, water systems, or sanitation services is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, and pressure systems
  • Understanding of workplace safety and environmental regulations
  • Ability to operate machinery and handle tools effectively
  • Physical fitness (since the job can be manual and field-based)
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
