Job Description
The Role
- We are seeking an ambitious and data-driven Lead Sales Consultant to lead and scale the commercial aspect of the organization.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for devising the most appropriate routes to market strategies in every region of interest, driving the organization’s sales strategy, and leading the execution of our integrated Tri-Service Delivery Model (Recruitment, Training, and Partnerships).
- You will manage, coach, and hold accountable a specialized team of Sales Consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Devise and execute the organization’s overarching sales strategy and define the most appropriate routes to market for scaling operations across Kenya, with a clear roadmap for future regional expansion into other African territories.
- Commercial & Revenue Ownership: Carry and deliver on personal revenue targets as well as own and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets across all service lines (Recruitment, Training, Partnerships). Crucially, also ensure that external teams in various industries are also highly productive and consistently meet their revenue and output targets.
- Sales Team Management & Coaching: Directly lead, coach, and manage all the sales teams to optimize performance, engagement and retention, and support recruitment of team members
- Operational Excellence & Accountability: Enforce 100% CRM compliance and pipeline discipline. Lead the prescribed sales rhythm (daily standups, weekly reviews), ensuring every team member adheres to high discipline of execution
- Partnership Development: Secure and grow high-value, long-term partnerships with target clients to continuously ensure robust demand generation.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven experience (7+ years) in a B2B sales management or commercial leadership role, ideally within the service sector professional services, Talent Solutions, Workforce Development, or Recruitment sectors in the Kenyan market.
- Track Record: Documented success in leading high-volume sales teams to hit aggressive revenue targets
- Skills: Exceptional coaching, pipeline management, negotiation, proposal writing, and data-driven reporting skills. Must be proficient in managing a multi-channel lead engine (LinkedIn, WhatsApp funnels, campus outreach).
