Leading Production Operations with Excellence

General Purpose: Our client is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor responsible for overseeing production operations, team management, and the development and implementation of food safety and quality management programs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Work Plan Implementation:
    • Execute work plans to achieve production targets within allocated time and resources.
  2. Employee Evaluation and Feedback:
    • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  3. Compliance with GMPs and GHPs:
    • Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHPs).
  4. Line Efficiency Management:
    • Manage line efficiencies, key performance indicators, and downtime.
  5. Optimized Machine Utilization:
    • Ensure efficient machine utilization through optimized operations and timely repairs.
  6. Production Process Monitoring:
    • Monitor the production process, make periodic checks, and adjust equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  7. Operational Excellence Initiatives:
    • Drive the implementation of Operational Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  8. Reporting and Data Analysis:
    • Submit accurate and timely reports, analyze production data, and identify areas for improvement.
  9. Inventory Reconciliation:
    • Carry out inventory reconciliation of raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.
  10. Food Safety & Quality Management:
    • Drive the implementation of food safety and quality management policies and objectives.
  11. Non-conformance Handling:
    • Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
  12. Coordination with Stores:
    • Coordinate with store personnel for timely transfer of raw materials and finished goods.
  13. Leadership in Safety and Environment:
    • Provide visible leadership in promoting Safety, Health, Hygiene, and Environment.
  14. Adherence to Policies and Regulations:
    • Ensure adherence to all company policies, regulations, and procedures.
  15. Security Maintenance:
    • Ensure the production area and factory security are maintained.
  16. Other Duties:
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in food science, dairy science, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in an FMCG company.
  • Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of GMP, ISO 22000, OSH.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
