 Sales Lady/VSM

  • Location: Kiambu

Job Descriptions

  • Establish new accounts by organizing and planning a daily work schedule to build a clientele database.
  • Deliver Volume & NSV targets by overseeing Total Territory Market and ensuring availability and visibility of our brands as per segment.
  • Drive Execution Standards by ensuring price adherence per segmentation, visibility through POS Management & Cold serve.
  • Maintain an up-to-date territory file and develop a strategy for its maintenance.
  • Manage daily CD route coverage, implement right route plans & journey planning to cover all outlets in the territory with the correct frequency.
  • Conduct daily VAN loading reviews to ensure loaders have loaded the correct mix of brands per route to be covered.
  • Maintain 100% utilization of DMS by CD in all selling and marketing activities within the territory.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment.
  • Meet and exceed set targets.
  • Follow up on customer’s enquiries and quotes.
  • Gain knowledge of the company’s different types of products.
  • Make and submit orders by referring to product literature and price lists.
  • Gather current marketplace information on products and pricing.
  • Follow up on ongoing orders to update customers.
  • Follow up on payments from clients.
  • Maintain daily, weekly reports in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with every customer.
  • Attend sales meetings, take orders, test products, and negotiate prices.

Experience

  • 1-3 years minimum, preferably someone who has worked in FMCG, Alcohol Industry/Depot/Milk Processing industry.

Education

  • Minimum High school – Certificate or a Diploma in sales and marketing or a related field.
