Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive support throughout the hiring process, encompassing metric tracking, sourcing methods implementation, interview scheduling, and guidance on effective interviewing techniques. The jobholder will play a crucial role in fostering professional networks and must demonstrate a proven track record in recruitment leadership, with a focus on contract management, employee relations, database management, and onboarding.
This position is designed to offer support across various departments within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Guidance:
- Provide managerial guidance on the recruitment process, including compensation packages and various recruitment options.
- Circulate and update job vacancies on relevant job boards and the organization’s website.
- Documentation and Contracts:
- Generate and manage employment offer letters and contracts, ensuring prompt electronic signatures and proper filing.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes, including people-related activities in relevant countries.
- Team Management:
- Train and manage teams to ensure effective recruitment practices.
- Craft and post job advertisements on multiple job boards.
- Global Recruitment Strategies:
- Develop and recommend global recruitment strategies to ensure successful searches.
- Enhance and maintain the recruitment database, establishing strategic priorities.
- Process Improvement:
- Review and recommend improvements to recruitment systems, policies, procedures, tools, and templates.
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and progress reports.
- Candidate Identification:
- Utilize various channels for candidate sourcing, including advertising, databases, contacts/networks, and headhunting.
- Conduct reference checks, lead salary negotiations, and identify optimal methods for filling challenging openings.
- Relationship Building:
- Build relationships with candidates through social media and events.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to establish selection criteria for future hires.
Other Duties:
- Participate in People and Culture change initiatives.
- Support compliance management.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders and staff.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years progressive experience in Human Resources, aligned with the specified responsibilities.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; French proficiency is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service orientation, patience, and a sense of urgency.
- Collaborative approach with extensive interviewing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and compliance regulations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
- High emotional intelligence, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
